Transform Yourself Into a Morning Person
Beat the sun to the office
I’m a morning person. I get up at 4am and start the day.
You think I’m insane.
No, I’m not a bubbly, overly cheerful person in the morning. I’m the quiet type who likes to get things done, and being an over caffeinated cheerleader isn’t my style.
I have some tips to help you become that person who maybe gets up a little bit earlier (maybe not at 4am).
Plan a morning routine
Establishing what exactly you’ll be doing once you spring out of bed is key. Otherwise, you’ll wander around aimlessly and then just go back to sleep under the warm covers.
Waking up early affords you productive hours and you need to spend them wisely.
“Believe that your day is going to be good and leave it up to the day to prove you wrong.”― Todd Stocker
Jot down what you want to accomplish in the morning before waking up early. Physical activity should be a part of the plan because it gets the blood pumping and helps your brain produce neurotransmitters called endorphins which makes you feel good.
If you look forward to this time, then you are inclined to get up and start that “me time” as soon as possible.
