In 2000, people were starting to play cell phone games. The games were black-and-white static images or text-based.
One of my friends was an engineer. He knew Java and figured out how to make a clone of Asteroids on a Motorola cell phone.
As I played the game, lightning hit me. My other friend was a product manager. He saw the door that had opened. We put together a hasty business plan.
