I met my new boss John in my new office on my first day as I was getting my computer set up with my new co-worker Jane — he sauntered through the door and said “Great, so you have met Jane who is our resident lesbian.”
If you’ve worked a day in your life then you’ve had a boss, and as you continue working you will eventually get a bad boss.

John was a walking HR nightmare, but he turned out to be the best boss I ever worked for — which is an unlikely statement.
The problem is that when we encounter these monstrosities we become scared and don’t look at them for the growth opportunities they present.
