You’re next to a hospital bed. Someone you love lies in it, fighting their private battle.

The rest of the world fades away.

You realize you never spent enough time with that person and regret wasting any second.

I’m writing this story because I’m the one standing over my wife of twenty-six years, who is in that hospital bed.

She’s had a seizure, lacerated her tongue, and has bleeding in a part of her brain.

We only have each other. We never had kids, so she is my world.

The only thing keeping me sane is writing this article as we wait for the tests to return.

Today, life has made it clear that I’ve been focusing on the wrong things.

That makes me angry.

Furious.

But there’s one problem.

It’s too late.

There’s no way to rewind the life you have lived.

You need to live the life you want now.

So, what the hell are you waiting for?

Mo money, mo money, and mo money
