5 Things Dan Go Taught Me About Client Relations

The day started off innocently enough — over a morning coffee I followed Dan Go on X.
According to his Twitter bio, Dan is a high performance fitness coach to entrepreneurs. He also has over 640k followers on X and 25k subscribers on YouTube.
A day later…
This was interesting, here is a guy who has over a half a million followers and he’s taking the time to DM me. I felt flattered and kind of overwhelmed.

The personal touch matters
It may have really been Dan Go on the other end of that DM, or it may have been his social media manager.
Dan deals with high net worth individuals, so it may have been him since he may need to show some expertise if they ask him how much he bench presses or something silly. The key is that this interaction resonated in my brain and caught my attention. He was exhibiting a personal touch that most people don’t usually get on social media while he was cultivating his business.
Rule 1: When building your business remember that little things are important to your clients.
